This new home was being built on the lot of an original brick two-story dollhouse and the client really wanted to preserve that history using the brick from the original structure somehow in their new contemporary home. This home has a clean industrial vibe and really reflects the style and interests of the active clients who love the outdoors and head to the mountains whenever they get a chance.

In their front entry a suspended, reclaimed ski lift chair that we powder coated a fun orange becomes the entry bench. Steel stair rail, reclaimed wood flooring, concrete countertop, brick feature walls, high gloss white cabinets, a wood curved ceiling on the third floor and lots of windows with natural light, a saddle leather sofa and area carpet all mix together in the right way; texturally and aesthetically. The house feels solid and warm, fresh and fun. Clever designing to maximize storage and everyday use was key for this busy family. All the unique features really come together to express who the inhabitants are and what they love.
