The homeowners wanted a Zen, fresh space with lots of natural light and clean horizontal lines. We worked with an architect and builder to create a contemporary, unique new flat roof home in an established neighbourhood with beautiful trees.
Expansive floor to ceiling windows, double height ceilings in the main space and a full height long fireplace in the living room extending from indoor to outdoor anchors the space. Large-scale tiles throughout read like a polished concrete floor, with each space flowing into the next. Crisp white walls and warm woods provide a showcase for the clients’ art collection and iconic design furniture pieces. When you walk into the space you feel that calm, Zen feel we worked to achieve.
